Mini Benefit Haul

Hey Guys,

Today I'm going to share with you my recent splurges in benefit and give you a mini review/first impressions of the products as well.

They're Real Mascara:
This has been reviewed and raved about on pretty much every blog going and I can see why. I really like this mascara, I was a bit skeptical at first because I tend not to believe the hype around products. However this mascara completely deserves it. I wouldn't say that it makes me look like I am wearing fake eyelashes but it does give really good length and volume to the lashes. I especially love the strange wand because it lets you get right in the corners to get those lashes you wouldn't normally be able to get. It also is really good at separating the lashes to avoid the spider leg look!

Gimme Brow:
In all honesty I'm not 100% sure what this product is supposed to do, is it supposed to shape or fill in my eyebrows, who knows. What I do know is that I quite like it. I normally use this after I've filled in my brows as sort of a setting gel to keep them in place. This works quite well but I have also used them for lazy make-up days to make my eyebrows look that little nicer, little less like I'm overdue a threading appointment. I'm going to keep using this and find which way I like it best and maybe do a full review.

Let me know what your recent purchases have been or if there is anything that you have had your eye on.

Someday Summary #1

Hey Guys,

So this is hopefully the start of a new series I plan on running. When I first started reading blogs some of my favorite posts to read were and still are weekly summaries some of my old favorites were The Sunday Girl and Zoella and my current favorite is Cider with Rosie who does a weekly 10 things that have made me happy this week. So I thought I would do my own version. In case the title is confusing you I decided to call it someday summary as it will be probably be uploaded on my day off from work rather than a set day each week.

So here is what I have been up to this week:

  • Going even more blonde! (I will do a full post on my hair journey once I'm fully happy)
  • Enjoying the start of our summer with trips to the beach and the park and eating LOTS of ice-cream
  • Falling in love with summer fashion!
  • Realizing just how expensive it is to have your car serviced!
  • Started watching Game of Thrones, (already addicted!)

There you have it guys! Let me know what you've been up to this week!

Primark Nails

Hey Guys,

Today I am going to share with you possibly my new favorite false nails.

I was in Primark the other day and spotted these bad boys. They have loads of cool patterns and prints as well as the classic french style. The best bit is they are all only £1!! Yes £1! I couldn't believe it either, and I am so proud of myself for only picking up two packs (although I fully intend of going back for more). They come with a good size selection so there should be some in there to fit everyone. The only downside is the glue is a bit rubbish and I found a couple had popped off after a day and a half, but honestly for £1 you can't expect to much. Another thing to note, depending what you do during the day, the pattern started to wear round the edges after about four days.  Honestly I love these and will recommend them to anyone looking for a quick fix, maybe for a night out or people who are new to false nails and don't want to spend to much money.

Let me know if you have tried these and how you got on.

Review: Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Mask

Hey Guys,

So sorry about the massive silence from me but I'm back on blogging form.

Today I am going to share my thoughts on the Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Masque.

Because I am in the process of dying my hair blonde (update coming soon) I am really trying not to damage the condition of my hair. I picked this up on a whim in boots a week or two ago and I really love it. Since then I have noticed it has been raved about just about everywhere, and I can totally see why! It leaves your hair feel smooth and luxurious as well as reducing frizz and making your hair so manageable!  (On a side note the style of lid is so handy and I think all brands should use this!) It has honestly been a while since I've enjoyed using a product so much, in fact I'm getting a little nervous about the fact that it is running out!

Let me know if you have tried this or have any other recommendations for me to try out!

March Favourites

Hey Guys,

I love watching and reading favourite posts, they are some of my favourite (see what I did there) posts because you get to really see what the person has enjoyed throughout the month. Personally I don't change things up often enough to do one of these monthly but I am going to do them as often as I can.

So this month has been a strange month, I've found some new products but also fallen back in love with some previously loved products.
First things first Batiste Dry Shampoo. Seriously I will never know why I stopped buying this maybe I lost my mind? Every girl needs this in their life, it brings your hair back to life between washes and can also add volume for days your hair is lacking a little oomph!
Whoosh Shower Jelly from Lush. This is another product that I have loved for ages but stopped using. Now I do know why I stopped using this, it was to try other shower products. But every time I go in to a Lush I find myself drawn back to this. Its a really citrusy fresh smell that really wakes you up in the morning!
Nailene Nails. The packaging has come off these nails but they are available in boots for around £8 for 500. They are short, clear and have a square edge. I really like these nails for a couple of reasons. Firstly they are clear so you can paint them any colour you want. Secondly the glue you get with them is really good, the nails stay on for around a week, making them really good value for money.
Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation. You have previously read my thoughts on this here. I have used this almost every day this month. I still love it and will still love for a long time yet.
Bobbi Brown Pale Peach lipstick. This has been my favourite, favourite, of the month. I bought this on a whim around three weeks ago. I kid you not it has been on my lips everyday since. It is the most gorgeous nude/peach colour which makes it really wearable. The texture is also beautiful, it is a matte finish, but it applies like a dream. It is really creamy and moisturizing and has a really great staying power! Basically I LOVE it and tend to buy more of this formula!
Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray. The main reason I love this is because it does exactly what it says on the bottle. It really does thicken your hair as well as having great holding power what ever style your going for. Another this to note with this is that it smells great! Not sure what it smells like just know it smells beautiful!

So those were my favourites. Let me know your favourite products this month or just what you have enjoyed using.

Lush: Melting Marshmallow Bath Melt

Hey Guys,

Today I am going to share my thoughts on the Lush luxury bath melt in melting marshmallow.

To use this you pop this in your bath under running water and it makes your bath all bubbly and colorful. As well as making your bath look really great it also makes it smell really great. The smell of this reminds me quite a bit of Snow Fairy, which is the signature christmas scent, its quite sweet but not sickly sweet. However the reason I love this is the way it makes your skin feel! In all honesty my skin has never felt as luxurious and soft as it did when I used this in my bath. It is meant to be really nice for people with sensitive skin as well! This is a definite re-purchase for me!

Let me know if you have ever tried this.

Stress Free Sunday

Hey Guys,

Hope you've had a good weekend! I've been at work all weekend and feel very stressed tonight (knowing I've got an 11 hour shift tomorrow isn't helping either)
So I thought I'd share with you what I do to relax on a Sunday night!

So my ideal night starts off with a nice hot bubble bath using all of my favourite products at the minute this is Soap & Glory sugar crush! Then I pop on a face mask, at the minute I'm trying some samples from Avon. My favourite is the clay mask! At the same time I like to either use a deep conditioner or pop on a hair mask! Once the face mask can come off I cleanse and polish my face, I'm still loving the Botanics radiant youth polish. It's a really fine harsh scrub that I like to use once or twice a week.

Once the bath is finished, I'll put on some fresh PJ's  and apply a nourishing moisturizer. My current fav is the Body Shop Vitamin E cream. The final thing to do is make a cup of tea and settle down to Sunday night tv. At the minute I am re-watching Sherlock as well as catching up with The Vampire Diaries online. Then sleep!

There you have it, my ideal relaxing Sunday night in! How do you spend your Sundays?
