Review: Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner

Hey Guys,

Today I am back to share with you my thoughts on the Benefit push up liner.

This has been around for a while now and I think every one in the bloggershpere has reviewed this but I picked this up a couple of weeks ago and thought I would share my opinions as well.
This is a bit strange at first as you expect it to be a liquid liner but it is a gel formula which makes it a lot easier to control (by that I mean not make mistakes).  You twist the bottom to push the product up through the tip at the top.The actual tip is flexible but still quite thin which also helps with getting a nice line.

I did struggle with this at first as I tended to over twist and then to much product would come out and then it would just drop off the end. It also took me a while to get used to holding the product. I don't know what it is about it, I don't know if it's because the actual pen is thicker than I'm used to or if the tip forces you to hold it a certain way but it took me ages to feel comfortable using it.

Now I have got to grips with it I am reasonably happy with it and will use it until it runs out or drys out but in all honestly I wasn't blown away and I do think it was perhaps slightly over hyped? I mean there is nothing wrong with it as such it is an okay eyeliner, there is just nothing amazing about it.

Let me know your opinions on this, or if you have any tips on how I could use it better.

Review: Lush Butterbear Bathbomb

Hey Guys,

I hope your all well on this dark gloomy morning. During winter my most favourite thing to do is take a steaming hot bubble bath using some lovely products.

Recently one of my colleagues gave me this bath bomb as a little leaving present and I thought I would share my thoughts on it with you.

Firstly I have to mention how cute is he!! Almost to cute to use, almost! This has a really fresh scent with a touch of vanilla that is not to overpowering and sickly.
When I first popped this in the bath, I have to admit I was kind of disappointed as nothing happened, no funny colours no popping candy nothing. However when I jumped in I was pleasantly surprised.  Although there was nothing fancy about it it was still filled with all the goodness that I've come to expect from Lush. It's almost like a bath oil kind of feeling. The water feels silky and luxurious and it leaves your skin feeling the same.

I would definitely recommend this and would purchase this for myself.

Let me know what your favourite bath products are.

Review: Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Mask

Hey Guys,

So sorry about the massive silence from me but I'm back on blogging form.

Today I am going to share my thoughts on the Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Masque.

Because I am in the process of dying my hair blonde (update coming soon) I am really trying not to damage the condition of my hair. I picked this up on a whim in boots a week or two ago and I really love it. Since then I have noticed it has been raved about just about everywhere, and I can totally see why! It leaves your hair feel smooth and luxurious as well as reducing frizz and making your hair so manageable!  (On a side note the style of lid is so handy and I think all brands should use this!) It has honestly been a while since I've enjoyed using a product so much, in fact I'm getting a little nervous about the fact that it is running out!

Let me know if you have tried this or have any other recommendations for me to try out!

Review: Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation

Hey Guys,

Sorry about being a little MIA recently guys, bad blogger I know.
So today I am going to share my thoughts on the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation. I picked this foundation up because I really wanted to treat my self and I needed new foundation so i thought why not?! Lately I have been really in light coverage foundations, which is not like me at all, considering one of my favourites is the Estee Lauder Double Wear. I also wanted to try some new brands. This is my first ever Bobbi Brown product, and I think I've fallen in love! The shade I was matched up to was Warm Beige.

This foundation is a really light coverage ( as the name would suggest, obviously) so much so that you can still see my freckles through it.  You can build it up if you wanted to to give a medium coverage but  that kind of defeats the object.
The only thing that I wasn't to keen on was that it is very runny which is something I'm not really used to. My favourite way to apply this is with a beauty blender, I think this is because its so runny I find this method the easiest.
It can cling to my dry patches around my nose, so if you have got really dry skin I maybe wouldn't reccomend it.
It also has SPF 15 in which is always a bonus, not that we're getting much sunshine at the moment.

Have you tried this foundation, or anything else from Bobbi Brown? Let me know if you have any reccomendations!

Review: Botanics Microdermabrasion Polish

Hi Guys,
I’m back today with a review of the botanics microdermabrasion polish.
Botanics say: ' this intensive micro-polishing treatment encourages cell renewal for a younger looking, more radiant complexion. Dullness banishing microparticles help to refine pores and improve skin texture, for a salon experience at home'
I have been using this for a couple of months now in order to get a good feel for it. I have to say that i have really enjoyed using this. It has become a firm staple in my weekly pamper night!
It is quite harsh on your skin, but I like that. I like to know that a product is really working. However if you do have really sensitive skin I would maybe say stay away from this.
Because it is quite harsh you skin does benefit from a really hydrating mosturiser afterwards. At the moment I have been using the night cream from the same range which I really like as well.
I do notice a difference once I have used this polish but more in the feel of my skin rather than the look of, maybe thats just me.
Let me know if you have tried this, or what other polishes you reccomend as I am currently on the hunt for my holy grail skin products.

Review: Enrapture Extremely heated rollers

Hey guys,

Today I’m back with a review of the Enrapture Heated rollers.
You'll have to excuse the paint on the front. Decorating woes!
I absolutely love these rollers. I will hold my hands up, I am rubbish with my hair. I can’t curl it with the straightener's, I can’t use curling wands, I am rubbish.
That was until these bad boys came into my life. These have been the only thing that has worked for me. They give me the volume I want as well as big bouncy curls.

Pesky Paint

You turn the base on and it takes literally about five minutes to heat the rollers up. The other really good thing about these is the fact that the clips are also heated which means your hair is being heated from all angles.
Because they get so hot you only need to leave the rollers in about 15 minutes, which makes them great for a quick fix before a night out. When I say they get hot I mean it, I've got asbestos fingers so I don't have much trouble but one of my friends burnt her finger on the rollers. I like to put these in before my makeup and leave them in for about an hour to give me the look I like. With the right hairspray the curls will last all night, even with lots of dancing.

I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is like me and can’t do anything else with their hair, if a novice like me can do them then anyone can!

Let me know if you have these and what you think? Also if you have any tips for curling hair please let me know?

Review: Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Eye Concealer

Hey Guys,
Today I’m back sharing my opinions on the Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Eye Concealer (wow that’s a mouthful)

I picked this up on a whim in boots when they were having their 3 for 2 promotions. I’ve been using this on and off for a couple of months to try and get a good feel for it.
I must admit I’m still not sure how I feel. When I’m having a good skin day I really like this. It’s brightening and gives a really good coverage.
But when I’m having a bad skin day it can look a little heavy and cakey around the eyes.
Another thing to note with this product is that you always end up with loads coming out. You have to twist the top to make the product come out of the little sponge but it just seems like you end up wasting a lot. I’ve been using this not every day for the last two months and mine has almost ran out.
All in all, I think I will continue to use this until its finished but I don’t think I would re purchase it.
Have you tried this concealer? How did you get on?

Review: Nars Blush in Amour

Hey guys,
Today I am officially popping my Nars cherry and going to review the blush in Amour.

I purchased this from a blog sale. a little while ago. I thought that it would be a good way to try it without paying full price in case I wasn’t keen because, boy are these bad boys pricey.
I really wanted to hate this, I really did! I didn't want to be sucked in to the whole Nars "thing". No such luck! I love it!!
The colour is a beautiful deep pink, which really suits my skin tone. Its very wearable, I can wear it during the day or the night. However if your paler than me though it might be too dark for you.
The pigmentation is amazing, you only need a teeny tiny bit on your brush to give you a really good colour pay off.
The staying power is also really good. I apply my make-up on the morning and my blush is normally still on by the time I get back home on the evening, a good 7.5 hours later!
All in all, I would highly recommend the Nars blushes.  They do come with a hefty price tag but I can imagine them lasting years before you need to re-purchase these so they are probably good value for money.

Let me know what you think? Do you own any Nars products? What are your favourite products?
