Soap And Glory Thick And Fast Mascara

Hey guys, 

I’m back today with a review of one of my favourite Mascaras. It is Soap and Glory’s Thick and Fast Mascara.

 

This mascara baffles me as I previously had a tube of this and I didn’t like it. It dried out really quick and left clumps on my eyelashes.

However I got this tube in my set that I got for Christmas and I love it. It really lengthens my eyelashes without leaving any clumps or clogging them together so they look like spider legs. It’s not great at curling your eyelashes, however, but you can just curl you eyelashes before hand or use a curling mascara first.

In fact when I wore it for the first time two different people asked if I was wearing false eyelashes.

The only thing with this mascara is it does dry out quickly and you would probably have to repurchase it every two months. But in my opinion it’s worth it, if only for the compliments.

There’s not really much more to say except I really like this and would definitely recommend it.

Mini M.A.C Haul

Hey Guys!

I’m back with a teeny tiny M.A.C haul today. Last week me and Stu took a trip to the Metro Centre for a spot of shopping. I still had some of my birthday money left so I decided to treat myself to a new foundation and lipstick.

I decided to pick up the Studio Sculpt foundation. I normally wear the Pro Long Wear foundation from M.A.C but recently I’ve wanted a foundation that isn’t as heavy. I’ve also heard some really good things about this foundation on the blogosphere lately so I thought, why not!

And as usual I can’t enter M.A.C without being suckered in by the lipsticks. Straight away I was drawn to Russian Red. I’ve been after a really nice red lipstick for a while. I tried a couple but they made me look a bit, lady of the night. However this one definitely does not do that. I don’t know whether it’s because its matte or if it’s the shade but I love it.

There you guys! Don’t worry I plan on doing a full review on the foundation once I’ve used it a couple of times so watch out for that!

Birthday Haul

Hey guys,

 I thought I would share with you the amazing gifts I received for my birthday. My birthday was on the 31^st of March, Easter Sunday. I love reading these types of posts, for no other reason than I’m nosey.  Now by no means am I bragging about what I got I’m very grateful for the gifts I received and just wanted to share them with you.

These are the main gifty type presents, I didn’t bother photographing the other things I got. I mean everyone knows what money and vouchers look like.

So there you have it, once again I’m not bragging just sharing it with you!

My M.A.C Lipstick Collection

Hey guys, 

I’m back today with myM.A.C lipstick collection.  When I decided to write this post I noticed how many different shades of pink I have.Oh well, pink is a nice colour.

Okay so Left to Right the shades I have are;

 There you have it. By no means is my collection as large as others but I’m still happy with it. The newest addition to my collection is Pink Pearl and my first Cremesheen I like it but I think my favourite finish is Satin.  

My most worn out of my collection isprobably Snob and my least worn is Viva Glam Gaga just because it’s a bit bright for me now.

A little Catch Up

Hey guys, 

So since I’ve been a little MIA recently I thought I’d let you guys know where I’ve been.

First things first I just want to say that I know I didn’t finish the march photo challenge but to be honest I lost all interest in it and found it boring. Looking back on the posts I think you can tell that my heart wasn’t really in it. So instead of filling my blog with rubbish posts I would write posts that I enjoy writing and you enjoy reading.  

I’ve also not been able to post because I’ve been curled up in bed with toothache. Long story short I went to the dentist with really bad sensitive teeth. When I was there the dentist decided to do an x-ray and found out that I have an extra tooth in the roof of my mouth behind my front teeth that is also surrounded by a cyst.  This means I need an operation to remove the tooth and the cyst. This idea terrifies me! I have never been put to sleep and I am so scared, but if it gets rid of this pain and means I can drink a cold drink its fine by me.

Also it was my birthday on Easter Sunday. I reached the ripe old age of 22 and boy do I feel old. I spent the whole weekend in what seemed like a food overload. Me and Stuart went out or our tea on Saturday night, I ate too much. Then we went out for dinner the Sunday with my dad and his family, again, I ate too much. Stuart then surprised me by taking me to the Radisson hotel in Durham for the night. We went swimming in the pool, used the sauna and steam room then chilled out in the Jacuzzi. Then we had our tea in the hotel, you guessed it, I ate too much.  On the Monday I met my friend for a birthday lunch, we went to Nandos and surprise surprise I didn’t actually eat too much!

Oh I nearly forgot! You may have noticed that my blog has had a little make over. Hands up I did not do this myself. I am rubbish with all things technical; in my opinion if you can understand HTML’s and stuff you deserve a medal. So I took the cowards way out and purchased the template from Etsy. I bought it and only an hour later it was sitting there in my inbox just waiting to be installed, with easy instructions!
